The Chelsea westover warning never went off on my phone. Granted im a few miles away, I'd like to be notified if one is close.

The news in mobile was acting like there were tornados on the ground everywhere last night. They need to quit misrepresenting this shite. They act like every radar signature is a tornado on the ground.

The Weather Chanel is now calling some cold fronts,” Bomb Cyclones!”
Talk about hyperbole

shite was bad I'm the mobile area last night. I have three workers who had damage last night. One in saraland, one in grand bay, one in semmes. Not saying they were all tornadoes, some could've been straight line winds, but it was intense to say the least.

No doubt it was intense. Just saying they are getting a little over zealous with the tornado stuff.

It was really windy and foreboding starting around 9PM, but never really got much worse, thankfully.

Metro Atlanta. Sustained winds high 23.7 mph. Gust 37.4 mph.
This was before midnight - we’ll before the rain was here.

Another Tornado Day on Tuesday, April 5th. Got it.

Well, reflecting on this event now, we managed to avoid a major derecho type event with widespread destructive straight line winds like we thought we might see. As the line moved into east MS and into AL it became somewhat broken. This decreased the straight line wind threat but resulted in an uptick in tornado activity in Alabama.
The forecast for the gradient winds was spot on. They were intense yesterday and brought down lots of trees and power lines. At one point yesterday evening, there were 40 wildfires in Alabama, most of which were sparked by power lines being blown down and then spread by the high winds.
