Nothing wrong with flunking out. It builds character and they overcome whatever is holding them back and become successful.
Or they don't. That's fine too. Someone has to be in the half that makes the top half possible for the rest of us

Only one though.
Slow....black babies are typically much cuter than white babies from what I've seen at work.
Native American and Hispanic babies are hairy as hell though.
Still...puppies cuter than all of them.
I'll pose my room full of puppies vs room full of babies question again. Which one would you want to spend a few hours in?

there is a massive gap between "not everybody can be great" and "let your child fail"

They absolutely are comparable.

comparing the 2 in this instance would be like paying $5/lb for sirloin ground beef for hamburgers or $25/lb for kobe beef
Why are you the only one that doesn't get that my analogy is absolutely an analogy to how most people compare actual sex to masturbation?

we have this romantic notion that if you work hard you can do anything. that is not true at all.
That's a stupid notion, but it is not the American Dream.
The American Dream is if you work your arse off at something you can be successful. And that is absolutely true. If you find something you're good at and dedicate yourself to a craft you will be very successful.

I don't think it's very rational to ignore man's social nature. I don't think it's very rational to assume you are above the cultural and social effect. It don't think it's very rational to assume the neurology and physiology of sex v. masturbation are identical (they're not.) Given study that shows regular sex is quite healthy, I don't think it's very rational to replace it with an alternative that is clearly socially, culturally, emotionally, neurochemically, and physiologically inferior.

Don't worry about it because you would. The hope is that you admit this now and maybe you can change.

Ok. SFP
It's more like eating a pill full of vitaimins and what you need to survive and eating a full meal which contains all those vitamins in the food.
The next day, either way, your body gets the vitamins you need. But if you always just eat the pill, eventually that is all you want. You don't want the meal anymore and eventually you wont choose the meal even if it's put in front of you. And while this is not a problem you will die from, it is certainly sad and pathetic to the outside observer.

Ok....both rooms the puppies and babies are quiet. No yapping or crying. All the puppies and babies are clean smelling. All the babies have diapers on that you don't have to change. The puppies have doggie diapers on as well so you don't have to worry about being peed/pooped on. You don't have to feed them either while in the baby or puppy room.

Humans are forming all their ideals and decisions on, at best, base perception and freudian egoism. At worst, they're not independently forming decisions at all (ie, free will doesn't exist ). Rationalizations are formed later (often within milliseconds).
The more intelligent humans are flattered by their apparent obvious superiority, and fall into the delusion that they are "above it all." The essential delusion that their decisions and beliefs are, to the core, more validly based. In fact, they are rationalizing all their decisions after-the-fact to the same full degree as the unintelligent, and modern neurological and psychological tests support this. They are just better at rationalizing.
