It was smart of the family to go elsewhere for their lawyers.

I was told there has been talk about letting the state have the criminal side.

Holy shite. That school is done for, and it should be. I wonder if the victim can get a restraining order to keep the perpetrators away from him at the public school.

Usually, if a kid is expelled from a school, they don’t get to enroll in another school. They have to either sit out a year or report directly to the alternative school. If CC did not expel them, CC will quite literally be paying for that mistake.

If you do that shite at school now, you get arrested. There’s a zero tolerance for fighting now.

Also, it’s probably best to remember there are two sides to every story. This is a complaint. Meaning they can say whatever they want without any proof or counter by the accused. The school came right out and said they “categorically deny” all the allegations. Which is odd to have a statement out this early. But like I said, the complaint reads like something out of a horror movie.

No kidding. Now the poor kid has to worry about dodging his torturers at the public school, Ruston High.

I always wondered why the laboratory school at Tech, A.E. Phillips, doesn't have a high school. A lot of coaches kids at Tech attend the laboratory school for K-8.

Even if you’re defending yourself? I got in many fights in school, I understand times have changed. If you are correct I don’t disagree with you. My take was kids talk, kids know certain kid knows how to fight, kids leave certain kid alone.

I agree with you but the last ticket I got was from a short fat bald smart arse Ruston cop who made sure and punch a hole in my ticket so he could get his "over time". Ruston is a shite hole

What the entire frick, man. There's just no way all of that can be true. Are kids really that evil nowadays?

In school, I witnessed bullying, but it was the calling someone, "you're fat, you're ugly, you're a nerd" type deal. Granted, that's not cool either, but still. But these kids were allegedly raping this kid on a weekly basis, many times with witnesses. And not a single witness ever told the teachers.

Wow. I really want to believe this story can't be true. As shitty as me and my friends used to be, we were never to this level of evil.

If I'm Paul's father, I'd have a hard time not finding those individual kids responsible and beating the shite out of them. I know it's not ok to assault a child, but that's just how much this story infuriates me.

That’s true for public school, but not for private school. Private schools usually give 1-3 days of suspension, and surrounding circumstances are usually considered. It would have to be something way beyond a normal school fight for police to be called to arrest a kid.

Laugh all you want but nobody in Ruston is sweating out whether they can escape being carjacked before they can flee the parish or the state.

Good for him. I understand kids need to have conflict, but if you’re a parent that doesn’t do anything about your kid being a fricking little a-hole to be funny, then you deserve punishment of some sort. frick those kids and their parents.

Hard to believe people still think LSU and Baton Rouge is some utopia to go to college. BR is a shithole and every facet of LSU is starting to feel it. Nobody wants to admit it but it’s true.

We called some kids that were effeminate the f word. They later turned out to be gay. They never ganged up and committed homosexual rape like this crowd of butt pirates.

I wonder if their parents will try to wield influence, and throw around cash to try and get their little princesses acquitted.

Also, for those that cheered and laughed. Did it ever occur to them to mention it to a parent?

IDK who wields the influence in Ruston these days, but none of those names looked familiar as connected to any of the old line families. Other than Mitcham, which is a well known name in Ruston.

Look at the names on the documents again.
