You people and your severe misunderstanding.
If a card of any type, debit or credit, has a logo on it (Visa, MC, Amex), it must operate by the rules set by the logo. Visa's rules on authorizations here make zero distinction between the two for authorizations, for example.
There is never an issue if you have money. The difference is that if you authorize a debit card at a hotel, for instance, the money is no longer available in your account until the authorization is cleared. With a credit card, it was never "your" money, so you think it works differently.

Don’t say I didn’t return. I honestly don’t give a shite about a pending charge. I’ve never noticed it if it was there.
I honestly found humor in a fat girl, with tattoos worried about my well being. No, I ran 7 miles that morning. Don’t feel like making 3 trips into the store to avoid a pending transaction. Yep, you keep on believing pay at the pump will eliminate human work forces across the globe.
I’m sure you fall back on the same “it’s just like this everywhere” motto.

How would someone get your PIN you idiot? The card brands have the same fraud limits on debit and credit cards when you report within 24 hours.
If you can't do that, you have other problems. You have mobile apps for the bank on your phone, text alerts, etc.
