I'm almost certain typing the words *ill or *omb in the same sentence as airport, puts you at the very top of the NSA detain list.

Not with 5 hours. Cab ride will take 30 minutes(if no traffic) each way. And then having to get through lonnnnng security lines on the way back in. Not enough time. Plus...you will have to lug your carryon with you to the beach?
There is a place in I think terminal E(maybe?) that you can pay them to check in your carryon if you want to leave your luggage there. That is what we did. Was like $7-$8 a piece I think.
