Did you watch the video?

I did watch the selected portions of the video. IF (really big IF) that is all there is to it then who knows. Something tells me the video doesn't tell the whole story.

As sure as sun setting in west, wife swapping in H-town burbs always ends in divorce or piping cyclists.

He was trying to shove it in his wheel.

That absolutely should be attempted murder.

Looks like ole boy tried to jam a pipe into that dudes spokes I guess? "Attacked" seems a little dramatic, but still a fricked up situation.

Deliberate action which would cause bodily harm. I would call that an attack

Buffalo Bayou has them separated and it does very little to help. There still a shite ton of foot traffic on the bike portion even when the pedestrian portion is 6ft away.

Rode those often when I dated a Houston chick for a while.

Didn’t have too bad of an experience.

It’s isn’t hard just stay on your half (with your dog) who her direction you are going.

That's not exactly an area you ride in circles and pass someone multiple times. Also, the cops had all the footage and thought it was enough to charge Mr. "just trying to lay pipe on a cyclist" with a second degree felony. He also did $1,000 of damage to the guys bike.

Poor form for this gentleman. You should only attack bikers when they're riding on the road.

yep.

Come through yelling, you'll end up stopping. Don't and you'll be just fine.

definitely...what do you think happens if he is able to jam the pipe in the spokes?

It'd be a shame if some dude got off his bike and beat your arse while wearing bib shorts

Its not hard to share at all. But that's really not enough for many bikers.

You're probably half my age and you would run like a little girl.

I'm undefeated.

I don't mind slowing bikers and impatient drivers down.

“perhaps there was a previous encounter not shown in the video?”

I would bet money there was a previous encounter on this bike ride… the path is a single path and goes up and dead ends at the end of the drainage canal.. you turn around and come back on the same path. This biker passed the walker from the back… went to the dead end… turned around and had to pass him from the front this time… also common for same people in the area to use this path daily.. I suspect their is some history here.
