This story is kind of off. Cordova has some bad areas, but certainly not where he was at. Curious who lives at that house, and what he was doing there. It says 5 were injured in the shooting. Were they having a house party when a fight broke out maybe? Drug dealer house?

Really sad. Karr football player has a measurable death rate. Ridiculous.

It’s the city’s fault….they want a certain kind of leadership. Well, they get it. This is what comes with that. You know I’m right.

Memphis is a diseased hellhole. Nothing good can come out of it and it should be avoided. Just like Chicago. Just like Detroit. Just like DC. And I know it's a rough take, but also just like New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Is it the land, the air, or the water in these cities that makes them so bad?

Cordova is widely disparate. It's also a large geographical area of Memphis. I lived there first five years out of college (say, 2010-15) and I don't miss it at all. It's congested as frick and just kinda miserable from a day-to-day.l experience.

There are some absolutely hood areas of Cordova. Walnut Grove and Forest Hill-Irene is not one. Affluent. Odd.

Ever hear the saying that nothing good ever happens after 2 AM? There's a similar one that says nothing good ever happens in Memphis after dark.

When I saw Edna Karr graduate and Ole Miss freshman in the same sentence, I would've bet my entire bank account that he was a football player. I highly doubt a single Edna Karr graduate has attended Ole Miss as a non-athlete.

It’s time for Arkansas to step up and claim Memphis. It’s dead weight that drags the entire state of Tennessee down.

Shouldn't of been selfish and wanted Mississippi River bank then.

Imagine making it out of the shithole that is New Orleans only to be killed by gun violence in Memphis.

Memphis just needs to be muled from orbit

African or European mule? Will it be carrying a coconut?

These are important questions.
