Sounds like a lawyer using "wokeness" to his advantage. Trying to that is. This is gonna become a common occurrence for any non-white decensent going forward. Sadly the right judges will accept it as valid in cases where it isn't.

From the way it sounded the attorney didn't have much to work with. At the least be bought some trust from his client which will make it easier to plea him out later.

once you head north from Dade County Fl starts to get pretty conservative, by the time you get to the state line you will have seen redneckedness the likes of which would make La, Ms, Al, Ga, and the Carolinas blush
