Guinness has instructions on the can/bottle to pour "hard." I thought it was just a nitro thing. And, Guinness is magic.

This has been correct for decades. Release the gases so you don't get bloated. Bloated customers buy less beer

He definitely poured it a bit too hard. Beer was chugging out of there. Pour should be in the middle of the two. Pour the first half at a slow angle then pour the second half (give or take, based on how volatile the beer is) straight down into the center. Creates a solid head without making half your glass foam.
