We’re to stay for the long haul.

Bar owners just need to be patient for a few more months.

“Smack, snack, testing!”

Former CDC director was on Fox this morning talking about masks
Asked if someone really needed a mask when walking the dog alone or jogging on the beach
He said in reality no because you are alone but it’s best to get used to it since we will be wearing them for awhile

I dont give a crap about the bars.

He is hurting all the kids with not letting them play sports.

He needs to move us out of phase 2 ASAP. We are a joke of a state.

He’s waiting to see the results of the school openings.
Other southern states have had issues. Luckily we have been fairly stable
LSU has reported a few hundred cases since aug 25th. U.Alabama and U.Georgia are in the thousands in that period.

As I’ve said here before- if you have symptoms, just head home. Don’t test. Go home for 10 days.
If you do get tested- do it anywhere but Baton Rouge.

Agreed. Stop testing.

And let kids play sports!! All of this is lead by stubborn ignorance.

We heard from our principal today that she is hearing that we are going to phase 3 next week, I'm guessing that is the September 11 press conference.

St Joseph’s will be adding another day in school next week so that’s something.

the bar owners should do like they did in Cali and start serving a bag of chips or a microwave corndog with every drink. Bam! You're a restaurant.

And this is completely inaccurate concerning the quidelines being used in some school settings.

I was talking to the owner of a popular New Orleans bar the other day. He said that they are fed up with all the arse dragging. After labor day, a large group of bars plan on opening fully, and the state/city government can get fricked.

It'll be interesting to see if they follow through.
