Parishes and municipalities can opt out of mask mandate if low incident rates of COVID-19. @LouisianaGov says only three parishes meet the criteria to opt out. #lalege #lagov

For the to-go only limitation, he mentioned “bars with and without food service”. Not sure what that means.

No, they are the same as now. He only mentioned places that don't serve food.
So he just wants alcohol only businesses to go out of business.

It means JBE will set up checkpoints everywhere to fine and arrest people for Togo alcohol purchases

Spread like wildfire huh? If those numbers are even accurate about 1% of the state population has even gotten the virus. 1.

So what happens in 2 weeks if the numbers don't decline?

Who gets the blame then?

What needs to happen is everyone needs to stop getting tested. If you're sick enough to need medical help, go seek it. But it's obvious that we're being penalized for the number of positive tests that are ONLY the result of increased testing.

It’s not just bars. It’s the general public.

Y’all are completely ridiculous over principle and something so petty. Everyone acts like the politicians are the only ones make this political.

So is everyone that’s fighting tooth and nail throwing “freedom” tantrums over something so minimal. As soon as it’s over and done, masks wouldn’t be “mandatory.” Then no one will have to wear one.

How is this shite legal?

Through Louisiana’s Executive emergency powers laws. Either house of the State Legislature can overturn it with a petition.

Ok.

So What price do you pay for people you don’t interact with going to places you don’t go to?

That’s an amazing sentence. You don’t believe in fighting for your principles?

Yeah. Throughout history governments have such a great track record of peacefully giving power back that they take.

There's no room for a voice of reason in this heated discussion.

So what happens when we get lower numbers, go to phase 3, it starts spreading again, and now we dragged it out to where people don't have antibodies anymore? Right back where we started. Why can't people see this? Herd immunity needs to happen

frick those 75,000 people you don’t know, I guess.

You don’t have to deal with it so it’s of no concern to you. Until it is...

Just tell them your kids have breathing issues and your ENT told you to NOT put masks on them. Tell them you can't either b/c you have a deviated septum which causes you breathing issues.
