Beta Israel (black Jews in Ethiopia) have existed for centuries. They hold many of the same religious traditions as traditional ethnic Jews and there has been much speculation as to how they came about.

There are black Jews in Ethiopia who staunchly believe the ark of the covenant is located in Ethiopia. Would be rad if true.

Yeah they have some church or temple or whatever that they won’t let anyone in and some folks think the ark is hidden there. I can’t remember all the specifics because I was stoned when I watched a show about it on TV.

Kind of hard to use the word disproved when no one seems to actually know if it exists or where it is. Nothing about the actual whereabouts has been disproven. It's not been found. No dog in the fight. Just thought it should be pointed out.
