I remember when my hearing died. It was at a shitty cheap trick concert in the mid 90s where I was stuck too close to a speaker and couldn't move because of the crowd.
My ears rang all the way home and have never stopped to this day.

I really just don't get your argument. Fine, you hear "Yanny," what makes you think that you are correct instead of knowing that you heard "Yanny" but realize it's "Laurel?"
You are hearing higher frequencies when you aren't supposed to or are fixating on trying to hear "Yanny."

I have some of my all time favorite posters in here dishing it out. I want to care and get involved, but I just cant find the motivation
Who gives a shite what people hear? Yanny has peoples ears going in overdrive and picking up a high frequency that is there. Congrats, they have super sensitive ears
Laurel people have their brains able to tell their ears what is actually being said, causing them to hear past the high frequencies. Congrats, your bain is kicking arse
As long as they arent hearing chuck or frederick, I think the person will likely be ok
