What works in mice rarely translates to human trials. Hopefully this one goes against the norm.

Big Pharm won't let this see the light of day
My bet is no. If they actually were this close you’d have every industrialized nation knocking on their door to assist getting it final. My guess is they aren’t that close and it’s a way of drumming up new investors.

Big money in fighting/treating cancer, I bet this guy winds up dead in the next few months. Or will be paid big time for his research to go bye bye from pharmaceutical companies. They don’t want a cure, no money in a cure.

Dear God I hope so. It's way past time to end this disease
quote:
According to Dan Aridor, chairman of the board of Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd. (AEBi) and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad, their treatment will not need time for the body to acculturate to it before it works. Aridor stated, “We believe we will offer in a year’s time a complete cure for cancer. … Our cancer cure will be effective from day one ... and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market. Our solution will be both generic and personal.”

Maybe THAT cancer. All cancers are different and may evolve.

Same here, but I'm skeptical of a universal cure for all types of cancer.

I hear a lot of people say this and it is really discouraging, especially for me.
In 1983 at the age of 4, i was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). At one time this particular cancer had a 5 year mortality rate of 90%. It was a death sentence. Enormous strides have been made in regards to cancer treatments. I was fortunate to get great care and have been cancer free for nearly 35 years.
Today, if a child under the age of 15 is diagnosed with ALL. The 5 year mortality rate is somewhere between 3-6%. While it isn't a complete cure, to go from a disease that killed almost everyone to being able to very effectively treat it is one of the biggest success stories in modern medicine.
