We usually get around 100-150 phone calls per day (Home Building / Commercial Service type business) - Today we have had maybe 20. The last 2-3 weeks, calls have been way down avg around 40-50 calls/day.

Just wondering if any baws on here have experienced the same at your place of employment.

It's probably a stupid question to ask on the OT since OT ballers don't need to work because they are already loaded, but for the few on here who do have to work, are y'all slammed busy, normal or slow?

Pretty normal but I'm in the industrial world

Things will be picking up soon once we mobilize to start this new project

Haven't worked in a year, but just got cleared medically to return and had a job within 24 hours. I'd say trucking is doing just fine atm.

Working in mental health, the phone is ringing off the hook.

There's also very little beds for suicidal clients right now too. I had to send a client to Bowling Green (about 3 hours away) just to get an inpatient bed.

Calls are down but margins are still giraffe pussy high.
Big bonuses again next year if we can maintain thru the end of the FY.

My company does lots of local government projects but we also sell to private companies (many of whom are selling to local governments in other states)

The selling to private companies has been slower for the past few months for sure, but the government projects are still pretty constant.

Medical is slowing a bit, but we will have a mad rush in Dec. before deductibles start over in Jan.

It’s starting to slow down, but I’m just waiting for that year-end code freeze on Nov 15th. Going on PTO until Jan 1st! I’m going to freeze my balls off in the Wyoming mountains and relax.

I'm in consulting, so we don't see the steep decline in something like call volume like you are. I will say our pipeline is still quite strong

Are you new at this? I thought that was normal for end of Summer and beginning of Fall.

No, it hasn't slowed down any over the past six years.

That's what pisses me off about the cost of everything going so high, yet work for me is still streaming in.
