Will all the newer apartments on Burbank become section 8 In future? They are cheaply built and their just seems to be too many of them

Way too many. I was told this overs zealous pie in the sky hyper building was due to TOPS and out of state students.

I don’t think LSU needs all this housing.

Yes way too many. Especially now that virtual classes will be more of the norm.

My grammar sucks. I thought this was a thread I started by the shitty grammar.

"Are there too many student apartments near lsu?" might be a more grammatically correct title.

No, they’re not. What college students are going to bypass the college experience by living at home with their parents to just take classes online? Online classes suck.

They are about to build another set at Burbank /Bluebonnet. The land there is not easy to develop and is expensive. Wouldn’t it be more cost effective to buy out the rat shacks at The north gates and build new housing there so you don’t have a 20 min drive to LSU?

Yes I think so. All those chain apartments on Burbank are going to go the way of Tigerland in 10 or 20 years. More students are electing to go live in cookie cutter neighborhoods rather than complexes. Whenever students start leaving a complex it needs to just be knocked down, but the people who run those things are slumlords so they’d rather it be section 8

Damn, that is pretty far from campus to have an enjoyable social life...without a few DWI's.

There.

I’m flabbergasted, based on title and “their,” that you used “too” correctly.
