In 1970, Walter Cronkite chastised us by exhorting "Act...or die!" It seems the earth was predicted to be uninhabitable by 1980.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

Climate change or man caused climate change? Huge difference between the two. The earth has alway had and will always have climate change.
Man is likely responsible for 0.0001% of climate change though. That’s what the big argument is about.

I don’t care if it is. I am not willing to have my habits changed nor to pay more money to offset my carbon usage.

I believe in climate change and I still don’t give a frick. Tell me what’s the worst thing that is going to happen if the climate changes 2 degrees?
And I’ll tell you something 10x worse that’s going to happen if we destroy our economy and let China become the global superpower.

There has been climate change as long as there has been a climate. What do y'all think the ice age was?
Now, do I believe that 1) our SUVs are causing it or 2) human action or inaction can stop it? No I do not.
Further, I support cleaner air, water, less pollution, etc.

Are you referring to global warming?

I’d also like to say that the answer to climate change has been around for 50 years.
It’s called nuclear. Zero emissions. And it’s the safest form of energy per kilowatt hour. Yea those are cold hard facts.
So ask yourself why we have been ignoring nuclear? We could end this shite tomorrow if it was really a crisis.

The initial cost is enormous. France has shown how effective it can be if you are willing to sink the initial cost but there's not much will for that in America.
Otherwise, yes, it's a great option and wouldn't mind seeing the money spent for more plants and trying out some modern reactor designs.

OP...buys into everything and is gullible. Can't explain the ice age. OP buying into current fad, I remember when it was "Global Warming" but now it's "Climate Change" because it is vague enough to cover any contingency.
If you really want to make a difference, convince India and China to give a shite about climate change. Until then it's useless.

Was up there that summer. They were all bitching about it. Like high 80's. In Anchorage. A little humid. Same temp in Vancouver felt a little hotter. They bitched about it also.

I’m old enough to remember when the commies callled it global warming. They rebranded to climate change because that’s so amorphous any weather can be blamed on it.

The earth has been around for a very, very, very very long time, and climate change people are basing their beliefs on 100 years of data. Small sample size maybe?

Climate change...also known as “the weather”!
Seriously, as other have noted the climate changes, it absolutely vacillates in cyclical fashion. It has to do with factors such as El Niño, La Niña, Arctic Oscillation, And other weather patterns that change and have zero to do with this fear mongering the left engages in ad nauseum.
Tell me this, just a few years ago, unless it has changed back to fit the narrative, it was global warming, before that it was global cooling, when nothing fit the boogey man hype, your ilk basically said “frick it” and called it climate change to cover all the bases. So you tell me if you think I’m full of it...why was yesterday’s global warming now today’s climate change? What the Hell is the correct enemy of the day?

Climate change is a frickin scam and nothing more than a giant wealth redistribution con job by the left

So is it global cooling, global warming or climate change?
Did the earth ever experience an ice age? If so how many?
Has the earth ever experienced average temperatures over a 100 year period higher than current temperatures?
What affect, if any, does the Sun’s cycle have on the temperatures and climates on earth?
How does ocean temperatures affect climate?
Has anyone ever propagated a documentary based on manipulated data to remove temperatures that conflict with the premise of the documentary alleging global warming? If so, why would someone do that?
Who stands to benefit from the Green new deal?
If you can’t answer all of these questions then you should really sit down and listen to the answers. 95% of scientists don’t agree on anything and if they did that’s an illogical reason for believing it to be true. Copernicus threw the popular belief of the earth being the center of the universe into question which was followed up by Galileo. These people suffered ridicule for actually using science to prove their theories.
Show me the unadulterated, unmanipulated, unbiased data that shows this climate change equation that is affected by humans consumption of oil and fossil fuels. You’ll be the first person to produce it. Otherwise, I’ll continue being Copernicus.

Yes.
Now let’s jump to a bunch of hyperbolic conclusions based off of extrapolations applied to shite we just learned about a tenth of a second ago and don’t fully understand...

No, but they will all charter private flights to a “climate change conference” where they will spend their time lecturing us plebs about how much we pollute and how we should pay more taxes and walk to the store instead of drive. Then they will have a big orgy before hopping back on their private charter plane to return home for a week before hopping on another plane to travel to another conference to smell their own farts and lecture us about the problems that WE cause

Better question: Is there any US Democrat/liberal political leader that believes in strict measures against China regarding climate change?
