Is there a special way to get rid of an old TV?

I think you just throw it away. Wife says you have to bring it somewhere special and Best Buy told her they’d charge us $30/ TV to dispose of it.

Settle this Badazz family dilemma. Thank you.

Put it by the road the day before trash day and somebody will probably pick it up

If it’s one of those big old ones you can turn it in to a giant death ray

I was trying to be environmentally conscious and took an old TV to Best Buy to dispose of. They told me there was a $30 charge so I took it home and put it in my trash can.

Drop it off to a panhandler. Most signs say “Anything Helps“

There's an old black dude with a truck and a big trailer that goes through our neighborhood on Sunday afternoons. Anything of value is gone pretty quickly.

Make sure to throw a brick at the CRT.

If it works, people will buy it. There's a market for older TVs.

Throw it in a ditch out in the middle of nowhere. Anyone asks, say you’re doing your part to build a reef for the crawfish.

It isn't worth the hassle to sell an old TV, just put it by the road, it will be gone before trash day

Take it to Goodwill. The key is to unload it fast and leave before the employee has time to get out the door and tell you they don’t accept TVs.

And if it doesn't work, put it by the curb with a sign that says "$100". Someone will haul it off.

We keep them in a spare bedroom and when the kids act up we take away their phones and make them watch those instead. Weird how they hate tv.
