Is this power grid failure the left wing’s attempt to convince oil and gas conservatives not the leave the union? Does TEXIT look less appealing now knowing you may not be able to keep warm for a few days in the winter once every 45-50 years?

haven't you heard? The new story is that Texas could have kept the power on if it weren't for the pesky federal government

Wouldn’t this be a right wing failure? Deregulation isn’t a left wing thing, you know

Which is why left wingers suck.

Unlike the federal government, Texas will learn from this and improve.

I've seen this sentiment from a few left wing friends.

As if we need more federal regulations.

TVA has always done really well in storms, cheap power to the people. Fed gov can do just as well or better and cheap.

Just have trouble with coal ash, but that has been fixed.

Once every 100 years the country of Texas may have a power shortage.

They can manage it.

The media will never cover the failure of the solar and wind energy sources.

Well there would be no need to learn if Texas didn’t deregulate. We’re up to over 4.5 million house holds without power. The next nearest state is at 400k. Guess what state is the only deregulated one?
