Someone that works their entire life as a brick mason? Trashy or not?

Not if they're good at it. I have two masonry fireplaces that were hand built. They weren't cheap.

Nothing trashy about an honest day’s work. Go ahead and take the job.

That is an art if you know what you are doing.

Without other details, nah. Good solid work.

You need 500mg's of "I don't give a chit what people think" twice per day for 10-days.
See Dr. if 4-hrs of more of trashy talk or it starts bending to the left.

Not at all. My best friend's dad laid brick and was one of the finest men I've ever known. Made a darn good living at it too.

Not at all. Lots of money in that.

No. They can probably have all the work they want.
The trades have been neglected in this country for far too long now.

Don't see how a craftsman in an honest trade could be.

Bricklayer is an ancient trade. It's tough, honest work

Its a craft. Any good craftsman is respectable.

Why the frick would it be?
Just because your size 36 pants can't do manual labor, it doesn't make it trashy.

I have never met a poor bricklayer.
I don't view them as trashy.

My dad was a pretty good carpenter and mason. I used to go on job sites with him sometimes and mix concrete in the trough.

Ask Mark Felix:
He's a bricklayer and in his spare time competes in Strongman at 55 years old.

There's nothing at all trashy about being a bricklayer, but there are a lot of trashy bricklayers.
There are even more trashy painters, though.
