This past week anything I’ve tried to order is 3-4 days minimum even with prime. I get we’re in the holiday season so there’s a bigger crunch but the entire basis of prime is to get 2 day shipping. I don’t remember this really happening much pre Covid. Thankfully they had been back to reliable 2 day shipping the last year or so. It sucks when a once reliable product gets more expensive and less effective.

It used to be just 2 days to get things shipped prime. Now who knows. Not as good of service as in the past. Covid got every business laxed.

Yep. Even longer than usual, which damn sure hasn't been even in the three day Prime window. Seven days to get what I ordered on Black Friday.

ETA: And don't go thinking that having a warehouse in your area will help. Shipping times have only gotten worse for me since one opened.

I’ve not noticed any difference. A lot of my items are delivered within 24 hours. What items are you having issues with?

Most of our stuff is still arriving in 1-2 days, but we have a couple of large distribution warehouses in the state.

That doesn't mean a thing. I have one close. I have yet to find anything (including searching random shite) available for same or next day delivery, much less actually getting stuff in what used to be the Prime window.

Amazon customer service has always been good to me.

If they are late with products I’ve had them give me Amazon gift card points or just refund the item entirely.

Might get a little langiappe with a quick call to customer service

When making a purchase make sure the sold and shipped are both amazon. Those are items are in fulfillment centers ready to go.

Pretty sure there was an email that went out a month or so ago basically saying don't expect 2 day shipping on everything during the holidays. They basically can't keep up.

That being said, for the most part, once my order ships, I usually receive it in 2 to 3 days unless the post office screws up on the delivery, which happens quite often.

I've started doing more of the "Prime Day" dates because of the digital rewards available on many of them, and the fact that I don't need the stuff right away.

I find that prime kind of sucks. Of course I don't buy a lot and from what I understand it is more valuable to people who do purchase a lot from Amazon, but it seems like for awhile, anything I order shows the delivery date then a day or two later I get an email telling me my delivery date has been pushed back. On some occasions I have received a second delivery date changed email.

Can anyone answer this. How do you know if something you are ordering is coming straight from Amazon or from someone who sells on Amazon?
