India NOT our Friend

Interesting conversations with clients in chemical processing with niche markets. China has been stealing technology for several years now.

For one client, Indians are now in management at Halliburton, which uses his products (75% world market share) almost always packaged under client's label. When Indian companies couldn't meet the specs then Halliburton management hired a contractor to perform QA/QC reviews of facilities. The contractor is from India. Client told his largest customer to get effed. This was a ploy to find out how they met the specs which they set beginning in 1965. Eurotrash multinationals never could meet the specs, and neither the Chinese. Now Indian companies cannot meet the specs.

This is happening in other industries.

So Halliburton hired Indians (dot) to steal tech because Indians (dot) are good at stealing tech? Why wouldn’t the Indians (dot) simply steal from Halliburton? Seems dangerous to hire a stealing crew to steal.
