Yes. Check that, 30 minutes.

I've waited for cabs in major cities longer than that before. Who these days is going to pick you up in time to get away from your car that is being tracked by the authorities? And even if everything goes to plan, they WILL find your car very shortly, and then alert the entire nation on where the car was found, and the guy who picked you up will go to the authorities telling them he picked up a man around that scene. You would be taken within the hour.

Got it. It's not super creative, but you only have 1 hour, so that's why I was thinking had to be kept simple.

Nope, me getting arrested as a drunk bum in disguise would be brilliant. The cops "know" I am not in their own house, and won't be around to even consider it.

jump into the first manhole you see.

And you'd likely encounter pipe just big enough to fit in an eventually run into a lift station. Not a good idea.

clone your cell phone 5 times and send them on greyhounds going all over the country in opposite directions.

How the frick do you do this and could you in under an hour without leaving a money and cyber trail?

Just charge your phone, strap it into the luggage compartment of a greyhound and ride a bicycle in the opposite direction with a hoodie and sunglasses on until you find a vacant home you can sneak into undetected that is also far from your home.

Assuming the first person picks you up, another 20 minutes pickup to drop off.

Guy that dropped you off will see your face and know where you were dropped off. He will tell everyone where to start the search. You would be found less than 4 hours after made the phone call. This is my new worst idea of the thread.

It's an advantage that it is winter. Concealing clothing does not stand out.

The drunk bum idea may be a good one if you can disguise yourself in under an hour.

This is a good one, but I think they would double check the person without ID that just showed up in jail.

Right. Ok, let me randomly make something up to fit my side....

You put on an elaborate disguise/make up, leave your car by a bridge, hitch hick, and then the cops find your car and the guy doesn't make the connection he picked someone up there? That is really the best case scenario to your plan, but personally I think you'd fail at hitch hiking and then the authorities would be there within 20 minutes to give you a ride to jail.

If we are constrained by reality when coming up with a plan, than the other side needs to be constrained by the reality that not everyone in the world would be able to do much. How many children are there in this world? Hell, how many of the billion plus chinese people could even get to where you are in 5 days? Even in the unrealistic scenario that in one hour, every person on Earth would turn into a man hunting robot, 80% of the world's population would be constrained by physics, logistics, etc.

This. The notion that everybody, even in your regional location, is actively searching for you is retarded. In reality, government agents and agencies would be hunting you and the general population would be vigilantly alert and ready to identify you if you come across their path, but that's it.

We had the most organized manhunt in recent times in Boston when they essentially knew where the guy was as he engaged officers and fled in a vehicle. He went unfound for awhile. The authorities didn't even want the population out of their homes because it would have made their search even more difficult.

Hmm, well i don't know then. I dont think the random attic would work bc all they have to do is notify everyone to check possible hiding spots on their own properties i.e. attics, basements, storage building, etc...

Re do on the kidnap thing.

Combine the kidnap with the bum idea.

Wear a disguise, then kidnap family. That way they don't you're you. Just pretend to be running from the local police for something else.
