It is some type of delusion, people both male, and female look in the mirror, and see a image of them that is 50lbs lighter than what they really are regardless of what the scales say.

6"1' BMI of 25.3

I do lift 3 times a week but I'm not impressive. Though I'm gonna use that muscle density talk to shave .4 off.

You being big in weightlifting should know the VAST majority of American adults do little to no serious strength training.

For every 10 people who fall in the "overweight" BMI category because they are muscular, there are probably 1200 who are simply fatasses.

You are way overestimating.

It is probably 1 in every 5000 American adults

For males the Overweight (BMI 25-29 category) 1/1000 might be about right, but for the BMI 30+ it's 1 out of 100,000+.

That pic in the OP wasn't some 6'0" 187lb male though.

This is one topic that really makes me doubt the intentions behind the gov here. There are real, obvious and data driven, results that show BMI is directly related to risk.

We had 18 months to get America healthy. Every single person obese , super obese , and over weight could have dropped enough weight to lower their risk.

There was no funding, no grants, no community experts on healthy eating being dispatched.

My wife saw some people last year for their physical and they came back heavier this year. They put themselves at a higher level of risk.

Data is showing losing 1 pound a week would have been better then them wearing a mask but no public health official pushed losing weight.
