Honestly, it has to be exhausting to be so angry about politics that you take something as simple as "where would you like to travel?" and turn it into an opportunity to point out how much you hate people who you disagree with.

South Africa is cool. Hope you get to go. What's the destination?

I'm headed for a safari lodge called Londolozi, on the Sabi Sands game reserve in the northeast corner of the country. I have heard that Cape Town is breathtakingly beautiful and I was tempted to choose that as our destination, but ultimately my girlfriend wanted a safari experience. Again, we'll see if we actually get to go.

Do it!! Took my father (87) to St Andrews last year. It was the one place he'd never been but wanted to see. Had a blast. Scots are friendly folks.

Maybe I've spent too much time reading the Election 2020 board.

Nice.

We did Cape Town and Sabi Sands as well. Stayed at Elephant Plains. Flying into Hoedspruit airport was something else.

Awesome experience. Not sure how your lodge does it, but with 5am game drives and two a day, you barely have energy to hit the bar after dinner, but I managed.

LOL. I have actually pondered how in the hell I am going to function after 5 AM wake up calls. I envision a lot of mid-day napping. Glad to hear that you persevered! Sounds like you did it right, both Cape Town and safari in one trip.

mid day nap takes you whether you want to or not. If you go to your room for two minutes you will fall asleep.

Only option to avoid is do walking safari or hit the pool fast.

Fantastic choice. We went a couple years ago and stayed at Ulusaba in Sabi Sands. Saw the big 5 everyday plus tons of other animals. By far my favorite place I have every been.

Southwest Colorado/southeast Utah. I’d wheel and camp for two weeks.
