Society places impossible standards on us to appear a certain way and we ourselves want to appear attractive to the opposite sex. Beauty does make one's life easier. It isn't everything, but it sure as hell helps with being accepted, though it can never replace have a great personality or sense of humor.

I've worked at 4 TV Stations in the last 4 years in both news and marketing. While marketing has been my main role I still can and will fill in on the news side when needed

I get it but I just have no interest in wearing makeup except for the times I have to every week or two for work

I don't think men truly understand how a simple thing like putting on some makeup can boost a woman's self esteem and self confidence. Can also boost their mood.

Men (especially gay ones) can do our makeup well. Sometimes even better than we can. I miss my gay guy who used to do my eyebrows at brow bar. He quit his job and now I can't find him
