Fwiw-I traveled to Louisiana, throughout Texas and even Mexico during the Christmas holidays. Louisiana was by far the worse public perception of Covid-19/social distancing/masks up-hoes down out of the bunch. That might have something to do with the spike in infection
No need to lie bro.

Except cases are also spiking in locations with strict mask mandates and almost universal mask wearing.

See: Most of Europe, Japan, etc.
California as well.

Then anecdotally, everyone in your neighborhood should have already caught it from each other, if those maskless gatherings are the cause of the spread.

My next door neighbors entire extended family caught it from a birthday party.

They regret it now

I don't think it's worth wearing masks and all the other stuff. I've had Covid already.

I don't regret any of it one bit since Covid was the mildest 'illness' that I have ever had in my life. Would gladly go catch it again so I can chill at home drinking beer and binge watching movies for 10 days.

Monday night in Lake Charles waiting on our pizza a guy in a mask walks in. Pulls mask down and wipes his snotty nose, pulls mask back on face, takes out his cc with his snotty hand and pays for pizza.

Not at all. I'm pointing out the absurdity of complaining about one, single risk mitigation measure.

A measure that is not actually doing a fricking thing. See: Japan and Europe.

This is entirely relative. YOUR experience is not everyone else's.

No, it's not relative. The math says so. I'm sorry your reaction is based on emotion and not logic.

Again, simple mitigation measures are not intrusive.

bullshite. Governments mandating who you may or not patronize based on arbitrary rules that have done jack shite to stop this virus.

Literally no one that knows what they are talking about ever said that.

Uhh that's the point...Have you paid attention to the two sided media monster over the past year? Large crowd without masks = Superspreader. Large crowd with masks = safe gathering. Most idiots get their PSA's from mass media pushing this false narrative, not the intelligent people at CDC or WHO.
