Let’s say we terraform Mars (and idea that I am opposed to) and become a multi-planet species. Do we have a moral obligation to take Earth animals with us?

Or we travel farther away

If we can’t take man’s best friend, then what’s the point?

I’m more curious of why you are opposed to terraforming Mars. I didn’t know anyone actually had an opinion one way or another about it.

We should take sheep.

Everyone loves sheep.

So many benefits of sheep.

I’m not sure that it is ethical for us to pursue that activity.

Of course. How else you going to eat things like steak, cheeseburgers, ribs, chicken, etc? I don’t think there are any herds of Angus cattle roaming around on Mars.

We are animals in our own right, I think we would be a handful just by ourselves

My argument is that Mars is in its natural state now, no different than any unspoiled areas on Earth and as such shouldn’t be modified in such a way.
