I never have issues with the police because I comply

Interior lights on, hands on the wheel, inform the officer when I have to reach for my information, and be polite.
The idea of an officer being a racist or a hack is irrelevant to me. This is because I hold myself responsible for my own behavior.
98% of the time, the entire process will run smoothly. You may even get by with a just a warning (as long as your papers are legit).

I am 100% for the Blue, but don't kid yourself, there are some flaming assholes out there.

You'll definitely be better off doing that, but let's not pretend that police are going to profile everyone the same (for understandable reasons, unfortunately).

they must check your knuckles and know you are not a threat.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing

You must be very lucky you never had a run in with a cop who was an absolute a-hole.

Doing all of that and knowing both your rights within the law as well as the officer's rights within the law is always the best approach. You have little recourse on the side of the road. Knowing your rights and their rights is imperative.
That said, some officers are just assholes. They can and will do whatever they think they can get away with. Doing/knowing what I said above is your best defense against an a-hole officer.

Meh.
I meet them at the back of the car.
Always have.

I tell them I’m a sovereign citizen and just traveling.
So they just let me go. They have to.

I get everything out before they get to the window. Be polite. Give me a ticket or not.

Do not rely at all on the notion that knowing your rights will protect you from abuse and brutality. The majority of deputies and officers do not know either your rights or theirs, and don't care. They also know that they will suffer no real consequences unless you are fortunate enough to have captured it on undisputed video.

What about Tarik Two?
Does he do what he’s supposed to do?
That is the question I pose to you:

How often do you get stopped?

Some policemen are definitely assholes, assholes with nightsticks, tazers, guns, backup, and sometimes big mean dogs.
I find that picking my battles prudently works best.

That will work 100% of the time, right up until the moment you get shot.

Well yeah, in spike of what the media wants to tell you, most all cops are just wanting to do their job and go home at the end of their shift.
Complying only makes it go quicker for both of you.
