I miss Omaha @ son’s LL game

Just watched a 14 year old throw 52 pitches to get through 2/3 of an inning.
It. Is. Painful compared to a week ago.
For the record my son doesn’t pitch and I’m not knocking the kid it just wasn’t his day. On the other hand it’s like 93 out here and the coach maybe should have made a move quicker.

Was at my son’s high school game today…. Opposing pitcher had 103 pitches, and they brought him out for last in game. Ended up with 110…a 15 yo, in summer ball….

110 is a ton of pitches but at least that’s a full game. Imagine 1/2 that many pitches in 2/3 of an inning.
