Been here a couple days for work. Nice place. Not too much poverty and crime compared to other places. And the people are cool. Yeah, there is a lot of woke bullshite, but most people don't care. They just want to chill and drink. And boy can they drink. A lot. Like really a lot. I could live here, except there is bone chilling cold.

Saw Camp Randall Stadium from the outside. Meh.

The culture is similar to Louisiana. It’s Brats not crawfish. Booze is the same.

If I wasn’t a complete pussy about the cold weather I’d love to live in the Great Lakes region

Sounds like Madison. I enjoyed it the few times I've been there too. I don't really mind the cold either but my wife thinks differently.

Don't be fooled. Milwaukee is huge. The city proper has almost 600,000 people, and the suburbs go on forever.

Madison is bigger than Baton Rouge. I had no idea.

Staying in western suburbs of Milwaukee, but decided to drive to Madison this afternoon just to say I've been. It's sort of a beautiful town. The state capitol is impressive.

I have a friend from Chippawa Falls. Her accent is turrible.

Her dad died at 88 years old, sent to the same bar every day for beer for 60 plus years.

Lots of darts and bowling in the winter down there.

A lot of the Midwest would be a decent place to raise a family and live.
