It's like buying an expensive phone is some sort of badge of honor for some people.

I always find it ironic that people will talk shite about people having androids when most of these people have an iPhone 4 with a shattered screen.

Rooting, although less common these days. System wide ad blocking. Freedom to install whatever utility or program I want at any time on my phone. Not overpaying for a name, although the OS does run smooth.

I would never do this, I know for certain that I splurge on things that most people don’t give a shite about (watches, premium bourbon, nice leather shoes, etc…). You’ll see me on the other end of that argument often.

Do people really consider price when buying a phone? It’s something you use everyday for 2+ years. A couple hundred dollars is meaningless

I upgraded from the iPhone probably ten years ago, my last one was the 4. Zero regrets, I like to be able to do LAN scans and wireless surveys.
