Well clearly this is being hyperbolic, but if someone clearly has that type of medical need, have a doctor write them a prescription.
The prescription IS the skincare products. Lots of them out there that are prescription only.
Visit /r/SkincareAddiction someday. Y’all would be surprised what lots of people deal with
And even if it isn’t the cystic acne, it’s reasonable that someone wouldn’t want even just small breakouts or redness just because they didn’t want to pack the stuff that keeps it at bay

My bigger question is where the hell are these people going that there isn't a a CVS or something?
Most women don’t get all their skincare products at CVS. And women like expensive products as well.
My face serum is $90 for a bottle that lasts 3 months(no they don’t make a travel size)...I’m not buying a brand new bottle of that on a trip (means I need to find a Sephora or Ulta) that I then will have to toss before I fly back home cause it doesn’t meet TSA requirements.

Apparently this is a thing.
Woman wears 9 lbs of clothes to avoid overweight bag fee
And where there's a thing, there's a product for it. Jaktogos - wearable luggage

how's about putting enough for the trip in travel sized containers? you sound extremely high maintenance

Right, so what is the issue? That doesn't count towards any liquids rules or anything.

Most serums are in dropper viles and oxidize when they come in contact with oxygen for too long.
Look I know y’all all have 10s who rub some dirt on their body and look perfect but it’s perfectly okay for people to have different hygiene.
Offloading all your products into mini containers all so you don’t have to check a bag seems like a lot more work and more “high maintenance” than checking a bag.
Just accept that most women in your life require more to look the way they do than you do. It’s ok

So why not put enough in a travel size container for the trip?
I'm also not saying not to bring that item. I'm just saying there is no reason to bring one's entire bathroom regimen, when the majority of what you need you can get at your location and discard before you leave.

I'd rather lose my baggage than fight with the overhead cabins trying to fit my luggage in. frick those who do. They take up the aisle and result in a long time getting on and off the plane.
I check my shite and hold what I can in my lap. I get on the plane, sit, and get off.
frick all that other noise.

it's a way of life for travel now, thanks Osama! disagree, if you need all of that crap and are too lazy to make it legal in a carry on, check a bag

No I don't.

I do the same. Takes about 5 seconds to get my stuff when getting on and off.

Exactly. Check a bag. Isn’t that the topic here?
I check a bag nowadays because the work involved in not having to wasn’t worth it.

My serum is in two separate containers within the bottle that only mixes when I press the pump to get product. The way the ingredients are....you only want them to combine at the time you apply it.
Look up Clarins double serum. Now that I’m my age....I need my skincare stuff so I don’t start looking older than my age.
Why not check a bag cause that’s my personal traveling preference? You act like you are superior because you are able to pack everything in a carryon.
People have different preferences

This isn't what we are saying though. Bring whatever the hell you want to if you're checking a bag. The issue is that women that don't check a bag still pack all the same shite between a carry on and a giant purse, and take up way too much bin space. Those people can pack much more efficiently and should.
ETA: And i'm not singling out women on this issue, plenty of men do the same thing.

I was not aware this was the topic being discussed. I hate people who carry on too much shite. You won’t get arguments from me there. I was not aware the topic shifted to that. I was originally agreeing with that other dude about how packing efficiently is key and if you can’t (skincare, heels, makeup), you should check.

Couple conversations may have merged into one.
My original complaint was people who bring a carry on and a personal item and store both in the overhead bins, which also is a result of not packing efficiently.
