When I read moronic posts on social media and reddit, I can always come here and make a few posts slamming mask wearers and restrictions and get 100+ upvotes. The members of TD give me hope for the future.

Please wear your mask when around others and limit your social interactions, especially indoors. While you and those you love may not have felt the bitter sting of covid yet, I can tell you it is an ugly disease far worse than any respiratory virus of my lifetime. I can understand the frustrations that may come with unwanted limitations on the freedoms you have come to assume as rights, but please know that we are entering a few weeks where we will see very high covid death numbers.
True patriots who love this land and her people will help limit this virus’s spread until the rollout of vaccines. I pray that you and your family remain safe and that you think of others before demanding your rights. Happy Thanksgiving.

We will not be changing any of our yearly traditions due to Covid. We recently had a 150 person wedding with a large portion being over 60. Nobody got sick. True patriots will not let a flu like virus scare them into following the ridiculous orders handed down from the power hungry leaders that have been elected. I pray that everyone stays safe. However, people will always get sick until the end of time. It is part of the circle of life. That should not prevent anyone from missing precious memories with loved ones

My in laws are pretty conservative. Sadly, my FIL doesn't likely have too many Thanksgivings left. A decent chance that Covid will probably kill him but he insisted that we come. It was just my family and my MIL & FIL.
The only person who's normally there but not in attendance was my nutty SIL but that was a positive.
