Did you notice it went off exactly at 10:00 on a Monday?

That's a somewhat odd time for a test

Yeah, that is out of the ordinary.
They told Vincent Gambini Esq that it normally happens at 5AM.

Ive only experienced them at 12:00, no reason a test couldn't be at 10, just seems odd.

isnt the Baton Rouge tornado alarm at noon on the first Wednesday or something. I remember being in class at LSU at noon on wednesdays and always hearing it.

I did notice. However, the 3 months I worked from home when King JBE shut the state down, I never heard it. May have something to do with the wind direction today and just coincidence. May be a new test. Thanks for letting me know it was just a test.

It could be an emergency that happens to occur during the testing.

Yea most tests are done on First Tuesday(every plant I've worked in) or Wednesday(BASF & Exxon).
But during an Emergency Broadcast system upgrade project years ago, we let the whole community know the sirens would be going off allllll the fricking time. FWIW, that was a shite-show clusterfrick letting EMCO handle our system upgrad.
