It’s not as uncommon as you think. If the same frontal boundaries, pressure systems exist, they are going to steer it in generally the same direction.

So this is predicting a storm to still be a couple of days out on 10/15? I'll be heading home from the panhandle, so I'll take the timing if it has to happen.
