98L is not a Gulf threat and will most likely slide out to sea.
99L is a long ways off but has some low end Gulf potential.
Also, there is a wave after 99L that will also need to be watched.

That is just an area of storms that will bring some rainfall to SE TX and S. LA. There is no lower level circulation associated with that disturbance.

The 99L GFS ensemble is concerning for the gulf but the Euro hasn't picked up anything yet from what I have seen.

NHC has upped 99L to 50% but the strength and track of 98L will play a role in what happens to 99L. As of now, the GFS is breaking off a couple of upper level lows that drop SW towards the Caribbean and eventually shear 99L to death.
