Maybe but I would put my money on the farther north and east this gets the less likely it is to get into the Gulf.

the GFS is slamming this bad boy right up the coastline of georgia into the carolinas.
Looks like i won't have to worry about watering the lawn next week.
ETA: What's the name of that meteorologist's website that tracks all the various models? Totally drawing a blank right now.

will probably just swing to the north after it crosses Florida. Example below:
If the ridge sets up far enough south to make it cross at the southern tip of Florida it won’t unless a front comes through. It could push it west of New Orleans a good bit around Lafayette or even near Texas

It's officially hurricane season with that 18z HWRF.
*Don't take the pressure seriously here. Only a signal there is strengthening potential as it approaches Florida*

Time to find a blue shed and ride out the storm in.
Obvious I am just joking people hope like hell it doesn't get close to anything in regards to strength on the HWRF.

Latest GFS making East coast its target. It is hilarious to watch all the divergent models runs fueling doom and gloom to millions.

It’s unsettling that all the models are trending towards a stronger storm
