I would imagine more healthy young people died from suicide and OD's from the pandemic than were killed by Covid.

SAD

LINK

The wide open border certainly helped too I'm sure

All started by big pharma and doctors, interesting isnt it.

COVID restrictions and the consequences thereof have killed far more people than COVID has.

Yes and no. People buy pills on the black market that have been pressed with fentanyl.

So it’s not only by a needle.

OD stats and the upward trajectory will get far worse in the coming years with all the dirty smack laced with fentanyl out in the streets.

Reminds me of the experiment in which rats were given the option to drink from a regular water bottle or a drug-laced water bottle. Only the rats that had a locked down environment started using the cocaine water. The rats with a healthy social environment and things to do didn't touch it.

My brother in law relapsed and ODed after 18 years of sobriety last year. Very fortunate that he survived. The lockdowns were awful for people with huge substance abuse issues.

The CDC said opioids accounted for the highest number of overdose deaths followed by synthetic opioids, excluding methadone.

Damn fentanyl... finishing in 2nd place.

They were talking about this on Econ talk the other day.

Cartels figured out that it’s a lot easier to ship fent across the boarder than large quantities of heroin.

They can also own the production

The problem is that it’s so strong that people over here don’t cut enough

I think this is the real reason fast food places and such are having a hard time finding workers.
