I need help. A detective is working on my case. I know that my case is one of hundreds. How do I help the detective focus on winning my case? I guess I cant pay them because that would be a crime but how do I persuade them without pestering them?

I want things to go my way. I just need help pushing this thing through. Any officers or detectives that could give me some advise before I hurt my reputation and cause.

Offer him some high class hardwood

Your definition of “hardwood” is flexible and who is to receive it is as well.

frick his wife, he will either appreciate the reduced workload or recognize you as his alpha and devote generous time to your case. Win win.

Detectives don't "win" cases.

Get your detective some booze, cigarettes, and blonde femme fatale and just get out of their way.

Their hands push it through to the court. Its a criminal case in which I am the victim.

No, they don't.

They present the findings of their investigation to the DA, then the DA decides whether to bring charges.

Do like I did and find the fricking crowbar the murderer used to pry open the victim's sliding door. DNA evidence = focused cops.

Did they assign a detective with a doctorate to your case or did they assign a lowly detective practitioner straight out of detective school?
