You would think if they try to shut it down again people would say frick this and just rebel against it. You think people will sit through another shutdown?

As long as their jobs and social status depend more on following them than on not following them, people will largely obey the rules.

Businesses will be forced but if they start arresting people for walking in their neighborhoods it will get ugly. Most of us, even lefties, wouldn’t be cool with police arresting people for that.

Until Inauguration Day. Then it will no longer be voluntary.

White people won't do shite. That's how we are. We don't want to look bad. So we will ultimately fall into our roles as sheeple.

Yes. Have you paid any attention to the American people lately? 70 million of them just voted for a drooling, senile moron that said he was going to lock them down to stop a fricking virus from spreading.

That’s not happening because it would get ugly just like you said. Major cities maybe for a time being but it ain’t happening in small/rural town America.

the answer is we'll do what we're told.

Exactly what was said in may/June. Didn’t happen. People are just accepting it.

I hope local governments start standing up for themselves...that’s what it is gonna take.

I will say I’ve seen isolated “rebellion” be successful. A gym in NC has been open the whole time. Owner told me he could stay open and risk being shut down, or close and definitely be shut down forever. They’ve got a sign on their door that says:

“If you’re a member, please wipe down equipment. If you’re XXPD, you’ve got my number”. Need more people like that.

Half this country hasn’t followed covid guidelines since day 1. I imagine that won’t change no matter what.

This is entirely untrue. That would imply half of bars are still open. Half of casinos. Half of concert venues. Half of sports arenas. Just because over half of the country is willing to open all that up doesn’t mean it is open. This is how socialism starts.

We haven't had a real shut down in the US except maybe NYC and Cali. All that happened where I live is the schools, bars and restaurants were closed. So are we going to rebel and break into bars?
