This spring, Tiffany & Co. will debut the Charles Tiffany Setting, its first-ever collection of engagement rings for men.
In a statement, the retailer said that the new line, named for founder Charles Lewis Tiffany, represents a “modern and bold departure” from the traditional wedding band. The line also doesn’t much resemble the standard Tiffany-set female-oriented engagement ring.
“Recalling a signet silhouette, the platinum and titanium designs revise a classic men’s style with powerful contours, a contemporary profile, and feature a striking center diamond,” the company said in the same statement.
The complete collection, which will be available for round brilliant and emerald-cut diamonds up to 5 cts., can be seen here.

I paid $50 for my Tungsten Carbide wedding band. It has done it's job for 13 years and has been on my finger at all times except for maybe 15 minutes during those 13 years. And i can open beer bottles with it.

If you marry a Brazilian she’ll want you to wear one. So probably worth it.

Same here on all points. I lost one so I had to replace it. My original band is locked up.

Only reason any man wears a wedding ring is because his wife would go nuts if he didn’t.

Homey, I don’t even wear a wedding ring. Hell no I never would have worn an engagement ring.

I take mine off all the time when I'm at the gym or cooking. I will forget to put it back on for weeks at a time

Kind of true

That said, the wedding band has amazingly become a semi-decent indicator of normalcy and productivity in America.

Neal Boortz used to say that a longterm marriage is the most reliable and valuable status symbol in our society. I think there is a lot of merit in that idea.

Kige and I feel the same way about Boortz's sentiment:
