Thought about the CyberTruck but the range kills it. Ain't no way I can pull a bass boat a reasonable distance and make it home with a 100 mile range.

It's ugly as shite too but if you like it that's cool. But I agree that the tech is just not mature enough for many use cases. I just don't know why they try to make the trucks all futuristic looking

I ordered the wife one a few months ago and already have 4 Powerwalls because I’ve always thought Elon was the shite. And because I make money off of them, but mostly because he’s the shite.

I'll get a cyber truck when available, sure.

I have nothing against Teslas, I am against the govt forcing EVs on us without the infrastructure in place. I am against them jacking up gas prices intentionally so we "feel the pain."

Just the Cybertruck, right? The Ford looks normal, and the Rivian I think looks pretty normal. I think some of the future trucks might look "futuristic" to some mainly because they don't have to be styled around a big front grille.

I thought the Cybertruck was ugly as sin at first, but it's been growing on me. One thing is the stainless material it's made of can't really be formed like regular body panels, kind of limited to simple geometry.

I don't want to buy anything that isn't going to be worth a shite, when I sell or trade.

Same thing for me, I saw a render where they added some fender flares and other modifications which made it look a lot better. Unless the range drastically improves or there is a way to charge the truck while at the boat ramp then I can't see buying it any time soon.

If Elon Musk buying Twitter is actually “a threat to our democracy” then today is the greatest day in American history.

Teslas are cool but still a while before they are a practical primary vehicle for most families.

The cyber truck isn’t a thing and never will be. It was just a way to pump Tesla stock

Yeah it looks weird. I agree with the poster above that I don't ever think that it will be mass produced as well. Maybe I'll be wrong.

If being against censorship means I now have to be pro EV you are correct I am confused. Maybe the idea that people on the right don’t follow lockstep in every issue confuses you.
