I own a business that is mostly B2B and I have lost 4 of my best customers and dozens of other customers that have installed hiring freezes because their material price has gone up. I was actually doing better during the middle of the Covid shutdown than I am now. Thankfully, I got a few oilfield contracts that should hold me over for a little while. I also had to raise prices on the vending route that I own. At current prices, I would of been in the hole about -$50 per machine per week. But at least we have a president who panders to people and doesn't send out mean tweets.

Our fricking President tweeted the other day about how when oil was 100 dollars 10 years ago gas was 3.67 and now it’s 4.25 and used it as proof that gas/oil companies are gouging prices.

As if oil is the only expense that goes into refining gasoline. I’m sure that the labor, insurance, electricity, chemicals, shipping etc that goes into the refining process hasn’t gone up not one bit in 10 years

The country is run by complete idiots

someone should tell those people that Powell and Yellen said last March that it would be transitory and we wouldn't want to call our experts liars

You most certainly are uneducated and have no idea what you're talking about. Get off your knees from 2020 and stop crying like a little bitch....

And many, MANY of those will still vote democrat again in 2022 and 2024. They’re stupid and I don’t feel sorry for them whatsoever. In fact, those are the ones who deserve what’s happening right now.

Yea you right.

All the boomers fault. Their generation is the most entitled pieces of shite to ever walk the earth. Hopefully most of their retirements are wiped out....

Pretty much what I expect from a zoomer. Bitter, angry, jealous and wanting someone elses wealth.

I mean, I know the OT likes to joke, but there are millions of people living paycheck to paycheck, and these higher prices for virtually everything you need is creating real problems for many millions of people.
Yet many politicians and media is saying only the rich are hurt by inflation

I have a long commute to work and am feeling the impact of rising gas prices. I am glad that my Corolla gets decent mileage. Food prices are crazy but living on a working cattle farm and growing some of my own food cushions the blow. I use lots of coupons at the grocery store and plan weekly menus around what is on sale.

Biden does whatever they tell him to do. He's always been incompetent and a liar.

Boomers are the most spoiled brats this country has ever known. They are narcissistic people, and don't even realize it. They criticize millennials, and never look in the mirror.

Extremely hypocritical group. Worst part is they can't ever take a look in the mirror and judge themselves like you said. Just a waste.

The lack of self awareness here is actually kind of funny.

Relax Junior. THe biggest wealth transfer in history is coming. Unfortunately your generation is voting to give it to the government instead of it coming down to you.

Look, I know its easy to just blame one person, but what is causing inflation? Government spending plays a big factor right?

Well let's not forget Trump signed 2 relief packages in 2020.

The first was a historic relief package for $1.9 trillion.. That's an insane amount of money. Then in December of 2020 he signed another one for $900 Billion.

I know the popular thing is to blame the current president for everything and/or the party you don't belong to. But can people at least be realistic and say both presidents played a factor? Or does it only apply to bills that Joe Biden puts his name on? Downvote away, but this is the truth. I am sure whatever talk show personality you listen to tells you otherwise, but it does take some time for $1.9 Trillion to circulate.

People were complaining 2 years ago about how the USD would eventually not be worth the paper its printed on.. It is happening and not its all the president who is in office fault. Simple minds

Man reading those brings a LOT into perspective. Those folks who voted Democrat should look in the mirror.
