Fine. Believe I’m ignorant and never explain your position that trained medical professionals were not trained to perform medical care on contagious people.

I kind of agree though.

Facebook being a way more broader representation of the general public than TD.

They're doing their jobs. If they can't handle it when shite hits the fan then maybe they should've chosen a different career path.

9/11 it was police and firefighters
Covid it's doctors and nurses
Wars it's the soldiers

Do any deserve praise, not really, but it makes guilt-ridden people who wouldn't ever do it themselves, feel better.

I just want to know when its the CPA's turn. They never get the credit they deserve for keeping small business owners and individual tax payers out of jail. Its not so easy setting up retirement plans. Its a lot of pressure keeping morons from going bankrupt. In today's financial climate CPA's are at war and its about time they got the credit for being on the front lines.

My wife is damn near getting this much each week right now in bonus money. It's insane.

A house on my street has a sign in its yard praising healthcare workers. There are ZERO cases at the local hospital. The hospital is basically empty. It’s absurd.

I appreciate them a lot.

But the ones who post a pic of themselves with their mask or shield on under the caption "healthcare hero" makes me cringe bigly.

Not only that, but the attention they’re getting from the media, restaurants, retail stores like Sam’s (this morning they are allowing all healthcare heroes to come in between 8-10 even if you’re not a Sam’s member for 50% off everything).

To summarize. You are jealous.

Caring is one thing, I suppose it’s more fear of the unknown. Although I agree with you

They signed up to take care of people, with communicable diseases being an inherent risk to the job. They’re doing their jobs, no more and no less. They are attention whores, not heroes. But they are usually freaks in the sack, so there is that going for them.
