Staying here for the LSU game. How high of a probability I get murdered?

You'll probably just get beat up and have your phone and bike stolen.

Well I don’t have a bike so that’s good.

It's like 4 blocks to the dome.

How soft are you to be worried about this?

Where did you purchase the shoes you plan on wearing that weekend?

If you park in the street or an open lot there is a high chance of your car getting broken into but there really is little interest in murdering tourists. The people breaking into peoples cars are murdering other people that break into peoples cars, or something like that.

I have stayed there when I lived out of town, albeit this was in 2012. You should be okay.

Much safer to stay at the Lakeway Sheraton and just helicopter to the Dome.

Hotel is a dump. Homeless people go in there for the free continental breakfast. Might not get murdered, but you will have some interesting smells.

I believe there's a 35% murder rate this year just for guests of Homewood Suites on Poydras.

I would recommend a nice Air B&B on Chef Menteur Hwy. Really can't go wrong anywhere you stay there.

OT: “NOLA is the most dangerous place in the world and you WILL be stabbed/raped/mugged/killed if you visit.

Also the OT: “you’re staying four blocks away from the dome. What a pussy”

I remember staying at a HoJo next to the Tabernacle in Atlanta for a NIN show in 2004. There was a homeless person masterbating in the elevator in the evening.

Expect something like that.

Stayed there a few years ago in a two bedroom suite. It was fine.
