Im genuinely shocked that the "bosses" know they are GenZ. Usually, all Boomers call everyone under the age of 50 a millinial

You corrected your spelling of genuinely from genually

But did not correct your spelling of millennial from millinial

Even though the word was properly spelled in the post that caused you to correct your other misspelling to begin with.

Sounds kinda like gen x back in the early to mid 90s TBF.

Gen X'ers looking for their first jobs in the 90's was 180 degree opposite of what you're laying out compared to Gen Z now. Back in the 90's a Gen X'er was competing against 25 other final cut applicants for the same good job. Overtime was taxed under Clinton at damn near 50%. It separated the men from the boys and survival of the Gen X fittest. The analogy you're trying to draw can't be more out of touch with that timeframe.

Going remote will make them broke. Employers are starting to tire of the remote lifestyle.

So you mean to tell me completely shutting down their lives for two years probably wasn’t the best idea??

In reality, colleges know that their students are wholly unprepared for the workforce

Yes indeed. Diploma mills now more than ever…it was disingenuous to tell people that they need to go to college and deserve to go. As far as being prepared for the workforce goes post-grad, that’s why you go into a field that requires you to have a particular license to do a certain job, i.e., accounting, CFP/CFA, engineering, law, medicine, with IT/IS being the exception given the continual proliferation of technology. Of course, that’s not to say those people can’t suck at their jobs, too, but they’re undoubtedly in a better position than liberal arts/humanities grads.
