Let's keep this going, it has helped pass the time at work like none other...almost as well as the cringe pics/brony thread

Morning folks. Sorry I've been sparse lately and didn't log in last night like I was planning on. Anyway, the car I posted yesterday...
This is the Flocken Elektrowagen. It was the very first electric car. It was made in Germany in 1888.

Switching gears here, this is my first contribution to this thread, so let's see how it goes!
1) Who is this (hint, a very famous actor's father)
and
2) How is he significant to the second picture?

Let's see who can get this one...
It's obviously American. But who made it and what model is it?
Bonus: What size engine does it have?

This is a guess (I've never seen this picture in my life) but he sort of looks like Christian Slater?

That's Woody Harrelson's father, Charles Harrelson. Convicted for assassinating federal judge John H. Wood, Jr. Anywho, he was believed to be the tallest and youngest in the second picture, which is the famous photograph of the "JFK Tramps" that were taken into custody following JFK's assassination. Also, while high on cocaine in 1980 during a 6 hour standoff with police, he confessed to killing Judge Wood and Kennedy. A lot of conspiracy mumbo jumbo goes with it, but still pretty interesting

Wow. I never knew any of that.

That's an Indian for sure, headlight style is a dead giveaway. My pawpaw rode a Chief while at LSU after he got out of the Navy in WWII. Not sure what model though, Indian Chief maybe
looks to be a vertical Twin-V though

You're all over it. It is indeed an Indian. They called it the Model 741 but it was based on the Scout. It had a 500 cc engine. The army did not buy many of these and instead focused on the Harley "WLA"
And speaking of the Indian Scout, they are reintroducing it in 2015...

As much as I hate the new programming on The History Channel, it is pretty cool when American Pickers find old bikes like that covered up in a barn somewhere.

Yeah, I saw where they found the parts to rebuild a 1903 Harley or something not long ago.

That's a German soldier. And the German's used mostly BMW's. As for the the actual model I can't think of it to save my life.

Correct on the first part, not like the uniform was a giveaway...
But not so fast on the second. Will leave it up for a bit...

Ah, I was a bit leery on that being a BMW. It looks a bit small I think.

Try this one.
What country produced it?
What was it's name?
What was it used for?

Unless I am wrong, the tracks look to be those off of a Panzer. Is that Panzer chasis with a self-propelled gun mounted? It seems that only two of the crew are wearing covers and they appear to be German. That's all I got...
