Morrow county is hardcore farmer/redneck territory. Surprised they weren't granted permission but they asked and were denied and decided to do it anyway.

But doesn't this fall under "they should have just complied"?

Bit of a reach, but I get what you’re saying and I agree.

Now should they be suspended for the whole season? No I think that’s a bit harsh.

So dumb kids asked a dumb question to a dumb administration, got a dumb answer and did a dumb thing anyway and now have to suffer the dumb consequences they knew were coming.

My lawyers would be making a phone call first thing tomorrow morning.

School can't prohibit free speech on govt property.

So the schools decided to take politics out of sports? Shouldn't y'all be happy about this?

If they took all politics out that would be great. It’s when they only allow some politics in, often that many disagree with, that it becomes a problem. Selective free speech is not free speech.

This made me laugh. It’s true- especially if the rule doesn’t align with what they believe.

Honoring fallen police and firefighters from 9/11 is not a political statement. Try to keep up!
