You think having a flag that supports police and firemen is political?

That's why they were initially suspended. But look at the image. They have a Red line too. It was for all first responders. blue is police, red is ems/rescue and fire.

Y'all can stop fighting about it now.

This was not a political statement they were making.

It was a tribute to 9/11 victims because of the unspeakable tragedy that took place that day in 2001. The game was being played on 9/11.

Its a special circumstance where this should have been permitted. The next time it will be 9/11 on a Friday is like 8 years from now, so you can try to start the process to legislate out, a tribute to the biggest loss of life to ever happen on American soil.

We could offend this, and we could offend that. Quit being a panzy and stand up to these whining maggots. Shut up and educate the kids. Stop indoctrination and teaching critical race theory in our schools and teach them to be leaders. Teach them to have independent thought. Teach them life skills that will matter. Discipline, Persistence, Morality, etc.

Be an educator. The type of educator that values the American way of life, our police, our military and our 1st responders. If you can't get behind that, you are not qualified to be teaching kids. END OF STORY.

Dude, all day long this site preaches "just follow the rules and there will be no trouble".

The fact that you can’t separate or differentiate between these 2 completely different situations is hilarious. By all means, keep spinning to defend your political stance.

This place was adamant in making sure we knew that "rape" and "sexual assault" were totally different things when it came to the charges against Trump. But Blake was a child rapists and no one was going to hear anything to the contrary.

So tell me about spin.

Do you remember W throwing out the first pitch in NY after 9/11? Do you wish they’d put a stop to that? Tell me how they’re different.

Were they told not to do it? Was it against the rules to do it? If so, good. Follow the rules. If kids ran with a BLM flag, y’all would be celebrating them getting suspended.

That being said, I’m glad to see the young men support the police. Good for them.

So honoring those first responders running up the stairs in the towers on 9-11-01 is political now?

There is some good counter arguments about law enforcement being political. I'm a fireman, love police, see them protect us in ems, deliver first aid before we get there, and overall are great to work with. Then comes the unions. I'm in the minority in my department not in a union, but when police and fire unions start backing political candidates it's a bad look imo. Even all these police unions backing Trump I don't care for, especially the more I think about it, and I'm a Trump guy.

I understand unions of a police department is supposed to be separate than the department in itself, but that's not how it looks to the general public. Police and Fire unions need to stop backing political candidates. I don't think police and fire as they are, are political, but, when you add the unions, it makes it that way. That's just my opinion.

I'll also agree my understanding of unions isn't great, so maybe someone can educate me if I"m wrong on my line of thought. I'm only political on here, irl I don't pay much attention, and definitely don't care for getting into politics with my work. I just wanna make runs, teach someone stuff, and go home.

Blue Lives Matter is only offensive to people who call the cops when a fast food place runs out of french fries.

Black Live Matter is an FU to black lives mattering.

This calls for a mostly peaceful protest on the school administrator’s front lawn, complete with Roundup and blue spray paint.

You do make a good point. I do think the school overreacted, but I would have said the same thing if someone had some other flag (unless it was gang colors and the school didn't allow certain colors to be worn because of gang affiliation).

But its funny how people are okay as long as someone doesn't do anything they don't agree with.
